Folks!

You are a special edition creation. So when people look down on you, or base your value on the number of figures on your salary or the kind of car you drive or neighbourhood you live in, always remember this; there is a reason to smile and rejoice. The palmist put it beautifully…

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. – Psalm 139:13

We are in the world but we are not of the world. We are not meant to live, speak or even think like the world but instead, the lord is renewing our minds to think in harmony with His word. The things of the world are temporary and a lot of people are distracted by them completely forgetting God, not realizing that they are gambling with their souls. To us who have been accorded the grace of salvation, it is time to truly repent and seek the Lord at a deeper level…

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2

To be faithful you have to believe in what you are committing to be faithful to. Unless you believe in God’s call over your life you will not remain faithful. Once belief is lost you will start to waiver and look for something else…

“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be. Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. This is why it was credited to him as righteousness.” – Romans 4:18-21

We are at war; a war with our enemy Satan. The terrorists you see are his agents… But the good news is that God promises to fight our battles for us.Though there may be many voices of alarm warning us to be afraid of events we see happening all over the world, we are not meant to live afraid. Let’s be confident in God’s promise of protection…

“A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling– even the LORD, who is my refuge– then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” – Psalm 91:7-12

Daily, it’s amazing how precisely the predictions of the ancient prophets are falling into place. Man is terrorizing instead of loving! Seeking to eliminate a race on the face of the earth? Nevertheless, join the righteous in declaring…

“The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?” – Psalm 118:6

Change is inevitable and necessary. Certain things will no longer meet your needs or expectations. This is an important time to let go of that which has outlived its useful purpose. Pay attention to the unction of the Holy Spirit and proceed with assurance that the Lord God Almighty will show you the way forward. For He says…

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

The Lord is still looking for someone to GO; will you be the one to answer the call?

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20
