Folks!

Quitting, throwing in the towel, giving up or walking away. These are things that we are always willing to do much more easily than we admit. So what do you do when you’ve run out of steam but the train station of rest is at the top of the next mountain?

Just like Paul, do not look at the task, at the work or at the suffering. Look beyond, further down the trail to the finish line. Change your gaze and you will see the wonderful things that lie ahead…

“All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.”  – 2Thessalonians 1:5

Never have we, as the church, a nation, families and individuals, needed WISDOM as NOW! Here is wisdom…

“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.” – Proverbs 1:5

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”   – Proverbs 1:7

“But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.” – Proverbs 1:33

Generosity and simplicity are an essential part of spirituality, and the key to an abundant and meaningful life. Call for a different mentality, one of reassessing spending habits and values, and of focusing not on what we lost but what we have. As you swap spiritual for material, it’ll change your family’s dynamics for the better. Investing in relationships is a far greater venture than devoting money for material things…

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33

Telling others about Jesus, sharing the gospel, evangelism, however you want to put it, this is one of the things that a good number of Christians shy away from. when Jesus ascended back to heaven He left us with specific instructions and He will want to know how we faired with the task He left us when He comes back. He said…

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20
