It has become so natural to lie that we do it without a second thought. How many times have you seen someone get a phone call and lie about their location? Or have you done it yourself? Remember the Bible does tell us that the devil is the father of all lies. A lie has no legs. It requires other lies to support it. Tell one lie and you are forced to tell others to back it up The Bible also tells us that he who pours out lies will perish…

“A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will perish.” – Proverbs 19:9

One of the things we fail to understand is that God is the beginning and the end. He has the whole story worked out and He tells us in the book of Revelation that it will end well for those who will obey Him. There are times that God will ask you to do things that to the human understanding look silly and ineffective…

“Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.” – Hebrews 13:15

The truth of the matter is that God loves you and He loves me. In His great love, He sent His own Son to die in our place. This sacrifice was and remains the turning point in history.
If we will receive it for ourselves, it can also be the turning point in our Nation…
